Eclipse Series, Cycles of Evolution

Updated: 34 minutes ago

Forget "eclipse season." To truly understand the connection between life and cosmos unfolding above us, we must think in terms of "eclipse series"—celestial sagas that unfold not over months, but over centuries. The key to this epic timeline is the Saros Cycle, a cadence of approximately 18 years that groups eclipses into families, tracking their journey for over a millennium. This isn't just astronomy; it's the cosmos' way of linking chapters in our collective consciousness through perpetuity. Saros cycles reveal conscious evolution through cycles and karmic cycles expressed in collective themes.

Karmic Cycles Define Eclipse Cycles

Eclipses occur through the nodes of the moon, Rahu, the north node (ascending node), and Ketu, the south node (descending node), these nodes represent the two aspects of karma in relation to time. The south node represents past life karmas, experiences, knowledge, and what has been established. North node Rahu is current and future karmas, it links us to desire, aspiration, experience to be gained, it is the chase drawing karma to the material world. As opposed to the South node Ketu, is retraction from material, and lives in the spiritual and ethereal realms. Karmas link us to the perpetual cycle of evolution, intertwining material and spiritual realms through mankind.

The Saros cycles show how karmas are interconnected through time, how mankind it tethered through evolutionary cycles. Each Saros cycle contains 71-85 eclipses, each eclipse cycle acts as numerous points interlacing past with future into a multi-dimensional weave connecting time within space, and space to consciousness. The keys that lay hidden within the Saros cycles lie within the patterns- each eclipse creates a geometric pattern that shows the theme and collective karma that is evolving. Let's dive deeper into the patterning within eclipses and how Saros cycles are attributed.

The Saros Cycles

Discovered in 600 BCE, the Babylonians united eclipses as repeating cycles alternating between north node and south node, both the solar and lunar eclipses create a cycle returning to the same constellation, progressing its position amongst the stars. Those stars hold qualities, characteristics, and karmas that resonate within mankind. The type of eclipse against the stars will be the attributes and theme that is evolving within mankind. The first step to revealing the patterns is to understanding the nodal and numeric grouping. Saros cycles occur simultaneously, and are grouped as follows:

  • Solar Eclipse with South Node (Ketu) = 1 family of eclipse series

  • Solar Eclipse with North Node (Rahu) = 1 family of eclipse series

  • Lunar Eclipse with South Node (Ketu) = 1 family of eclipse series

  • Lunar Eclipse with North Node (Rahu) = 1 family of eclipse series

Eclipse series occur concurrently, as shown below:

South Node (Ketu) Saros Family =

20 Solar eclipse cycles currently in progress

22 Lunar eclipse cycles currently in progress

North Node (Rahu) Saros Family =

20 Solar eclipse cycles currently in progress

20 Lunar eclipse cycles currently in progress

Each Saros series is a lineage of eclipses, with every eclipse within the cycle occurring 18 years, 11 days, and 8 hours after the last, or every 223 synodic months. Each series lasts approximately 1,260 years or 12 -15 centuries revealing how eclipses share similar geometric alignments over epochs of civilizations for conscious development. 1 eclipse series will progress in a linear manner, but is connected to a complimentary cycle. Because numerous eclipse series occur simultaneously family.

Example: Saros Cycle 133 = a lunar south node series

Began: May 13, 1557 = first eclipse of the series, the next eclipse, #2 occurred May 24, 1575 (linear progression). Lunar Saros Cycle 133 is connected to the Solar Saros Cycle 140, both are within the South node (Ketu) family and create similar geometric patterns within the stars. Acting as mirroring effects within consciousness.

Example:

Saros Cylce 133: Total Lunar Eclipse, March 3, 2026 = Sun & North Node in Aquarius, Moon & South Node in Leo

Saros Cycle 138: Partial Lunar Eclipse, August 28, 2026 = Moon & North Node in Aquarius, Sun & South Node in Leo

Each year is a theme played through numerous Saros Cycles. 2026 is apart of the Aquarius-Leo Axis, the themes of innovation, revolution, and will aspect power, community vs uniting.

2027 has 5 eclipses.

3 lunar eclipses = Saros 143, Saros 110, Saros 148

2 solar eclipses = Saros 131 and Saros 136

2027 eclipses will work through the Capricorn - Gemini Axis. The annular year will not repeat the same eclipse cycles. (each eclipse is 18 years apart). Meaning the 3rd and final Aquarius- Leo Axis for Lunar Saros 133 will occur in March 2044.

Interrelated eclipse cycles (such as Lunar Saros 133 & Solar Saros 140) occur at different times, their eclipses connect conscious evolution into similar patterns across time, creating incremental progression within the collective, and individually triggering themes within the self. Time is a construct- karma and conscious evolution are not linear but interconnected across multiple timelines interacting, relaying, and mirroring.

Both the south-node eclipse series and north-node eclipse series occur together within the same year interlinking to different points in the past and future. A year doesn't define the eclipses, rather it is the nodes-Ketu and Rahu (south and north) that define year and its relationship to the past and future. Each lunar eclipse cycle has a linear event (eclipse), while it's solar counterpart is linked to a different timeline.

Example:

Lunar Saros 133: eclipse #27 occurs on March 3, 2026 (future) is connected to Solar Saros 140 eclipse #29 which occurred on February 26, 2017 (past).

Eclipse #28 in Lunar Saros 133 is on March 13, 2044, the linear evolution of its series. The Solar eclipse counter part #30 occurs on March 9, 2035. Linear within the cycle, but not within the connections.

The Cycle of 3: Pythagoras Structure of Heaven unto Earth

3 is the number associated with creation, the holy trinity, the trice, the triad, the trine. It ithe geometric pattern-triangle, the number structure that indicates creation, the first level of completion, and symbolizes balance and harmony. As Pythagoras taught, geometry connects consciousness by revealing numeric relationships between the cosmos and states of awareness. Each Saros series reiterates the 3, in 3 ways. The 3 by 3 if you will. The first, each Saros series has 3 consecutive eclipses within each zodiac sign (as shown below). This is the effect of the eclipse in initiation, adaptation, completion. The second way is each Saros cycle aligns 3 different lunar calendars: Synodic, Draconic, Anomalistic. Lastly, the 3 planes of eclipses, not every eclipse is visible to every country. There are 3 degrees in which eclipses are visible, this visibilty affects the levels of influence within consciousness from subtle to material.

Triadic Evolution through Signs: Aquarius - Leo Axis

(South Node) Lunar Saros Cycle 133:

#26 Total Lunar Eclipse : February 21, 2008 = Aquarius - Leo Axis

Sun in Aquarius with North Node, Moon in Leo with South Node

#27 Total Lunar Eclipse : March 3, 2026 = Aquarius - Leo Axis

Sun in Aquarius with North Node, Moon in Leo with South Node

#28 Total Lunar Eclipse : March 13, 2044 = Aquarius - Leo Axis

Sun in Aquarius with North Node, Moon in Leo with South Node

#29 Total Lunar Eclipse: March 25, 2062 = Pisces - Virgo Axis

Sun in Pisces with North Node, Moon in Virgo with South Node

(South Node) Solar Saros Cycle 140:

#28 Annular Solar Eclipse: February 16, 1999 = Aquarius - Leo Axis

Moon in Aquarius with South Node, Sun in Leo with North Node

#29 Annular Solar Eclipse: February 26, 2017 = Aquarius - Leo Axis

Moon in Aquarius with South Node, Sun in Leo with North Node

#30 Annular Solar Eclipse: March 9, 2035 = Aquarius - Leo Axis

Moon in Aquarius with South Node, Sun in Leo with North Node

#31 Annular Solar Eclipse: March 20, 2053 = Pisces - Virgo Axis

Moon in Pisces with South Node, Sun in Virgo with North Node

3 Lunar Calendars

Synodic (29.5 days)- Alignment of time, measured in phases of the moon

Draconic (27.2 days)- Alignment of influence, nodical month measured thru lunar nodes

Anomalistic (27.55 days)- Alignment of space, measured in perigree, relationship to earth

3 Planes of Influence

Direct Visibility = Direct Consciousness

Partial Visibility = Higher Mental Plane (Intuitive, what lingers)

Zero Visibility = Shadow, unknown but felt.

The aspect of 3 reveals the connections of divinity into materiality, or intelligence into form. It is through the triangle, and cycles of eclipses we can reveal the evolution of collective conscious evolution (based on sign), phase of evolution (based on eclipse number: beginning, middle, end) and planes which will evolve (based on visibility).

The Grand Perspective

The key is through the Nodes. The Saros cycles reveal that humanity moves through defined karmic and consciousness evolutionary cycles. Each eclipse is not an isolated event, but one sentence in a centuries-long story. By seeing as the ancients did, we peer through the sky as a connected, geometric whole, a spiral of interconnectedness. We see that eclipses supercede 'eclipse season' and are the push and pull of humanities evolutionary journey. Working through 3 levels of influence, 3 stages of evolution, and 3 aspects of creation. Saros Cycles are the link to unfold the singular to the multiple, and the link to unite evolution over time.

Recap:

  • Eclipses are grouped based off south node or north node, then further grouped by solar or lunar- showing the karmic effect through the soul & mind from divine to material as rippled through the signs.

  • Each eclipse event (total lunar March 3, 2026 = 1 event = #27 in series 133) belongs to its own series but is connected to another series (lunar saros 133 is connected to solar saros 140). Everything is connected, everything is intertwined, even the cosmos has mirroring effects through duality north and south nodes, sun and moon.

  • Each series of each nodal family will have 3 eclipses in a sign (54 years), and then create a spiral of reflection (geometric pattern). The trifold effect of creation of that Karma. Each series will repeat in each sign twice, 500 years apart.

  • Eclipse events link themes and evolution across time.

  • Eclipses do not stand alone, they are linked based off its series- karma, and its counter part.

  • Each year has 4-5 Saros eclipse cycles, the placement and link of each cycle reveal the four aspects which collective consciousness will unfold for that year. The year will reveal what zodical axis is the theme. E.G. 2026 = Aquarius - Leo Axis, 2027 = Capricorn - Cancer Axis.

  • Each eclipse will affect different planes of consciousness based on visibility.
